Following a comprehensive consultation, your nurse practitioner will develop a personalised skincare plan. This may include prescription and non-prescription options, depending on your skin presentation and medical history.
We offer clinical support for conditions including:
– Acne
– Rosacea
– Melasma and pigmentation
– Sun damage and texture irregularities
– Scarring and post-inflammatory changesFollow-up consultations via telehealth may be available where clinically appropriate.

Conduct a detailed assessment of your skin and medical history
Identify potential internal and external aggravating factors
Review current and past skincare use
Discuss prescription and non-prescription treatment options (where appropriate)
Establish a plan that may include topical therapies, in-clinic treatments, and long-term maintenance
Our approach is evidence-based and tailored to the individual. We focus on reducing inflammation, restoring barrier function, and supporting long-term skin health-not just suppressing breakouts.
Ongoing Management
Follow-up consultations may be conducted in-clinic or via telehealth, depending on clinical need. Adjustments to your plan will be made based on progress and response to treatment.

Microneedling is a clinically delivered treatment that uses fine, medical-grade needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process initiates a natural healing response that supports collagen production and may improve overall skin texture and quality over time.
Microneedling is commonly used to address:
Fine textural irregularities
Enlarged pores
Post-inflammatory scarring
General dullness or uneven tone
Skin laxity in early ageing
It can be safely used on the face, neck, and other delicate areas such as around the eyes or décolletage. A topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment for patient comfort.

At The Derm Clinic, we offer medically guided consultations to explore treatment options for functional concerns such as jaw clenching (bruxism) and excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis).
Jaw Clenching & Bruxism-Related Discomfort
Increased activity in the masseter muscle may contribute to jaw clenching, teeth grinding, facial tension, and discomfort. In some cases, prolonged muscle activity can also influence facial shape or dental wear.
We offer clinical assessment to explore treatment pathways aimed at reducing overactivity in this area, where appropriate. Treatment typically takes ~15 minutes, with effects developing over 4–10 days and lasting approximately 3–6 months, depending on individual response and treatment plan.
Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)
Primary hyperhidrosis is characterised by excessive underarm sweating not adequately managed with topical treatments. Following consultation, in-clinic interventions may be considered to support reduced sweat gland activity.
Treatment duration is typically ~45 minutes, with effects developing within 1–2 weeks. Duration of benefit may range from 6 to 12 months, based on individual factors.
Consultation & Pricing
All functional concerns are assessed during a comprehensive consultation. Treatment options, expected outcomes, and pricing are clearly outlined prior to any procedure. Treatments are provided only where clinically appropriate and after informed consent.
Note: The Derm Clinic adheres to AHPRA and TGA guidelines. No prescription-only products are named in advertising, and all treatments are delivered by qualified Nurse Practitioners within scope.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) or PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, processed on-site using TGA-approved equipment. The concentrate is applied to the scalp using injection or microneedling techniques, where clinically appropriate.
This treatment may be considered as part of a broader clinical strategy to support scalp condition and the surrounding hair follicle environment. Microneedling may assist in enhancing the distribution and absorption of the concentrate. Adjunct therapies including prescription treatments may also be discussed if clinically suitable.
Treatment Overview
– Duration: ~45–60 minutes
– Recommended frequency: 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart
– Maintenance: 1 session every 6–12 months, based on individual responseFinal pricing will vary based on clinical needs and will be confirmed following consultation.
