Every aesthetic treatment at The Derm Clinic begins with a comprehensive consultation.
Our Aesthetic Consultation is designed for patients considering treatments to support healthy ageing, facial balance and skin quality. It is an opportunity to discuss what you have noticed, what you would like to address, and develop a considered treatment plan based on your individual anatomy, skin health and goals.
We believe the best aesthetic outcomes begin with a thorough assessment. Rather than approaching the face as a collection of individual concerns, we consider facial structure, movement, proportions, skin quality and how these change over time.
Your consultation includes
Comprehensive medical history and suitability assessment
Full facial and anatomical assessment
Assessment of facial movement, balance and proportions
Skin assessment, including VISIA® Skin Analysis where appropriate
Discussion of your concerns, preferences and treatment goals
Review of your current skincare routine
Education around appropriate treatment options, expected outcomes, downtime, risks and ongoing maintenance
A personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs
Where clinically appropriate, ultrasound assessment and facial vascular mapping may also be utilised to support individualised treatment planning and patient safety.
Your treatment plan
Your personalised plan may include recommendations for prescription skincare, skin rejuvenation procedures, regenerative treatments and aesthetic injectables, depending on your individual assessment.
Our approach is clinically grounded, evidence-based and centred on patient safety. Treatment is planned to respect your natural facial anatomy and movement, with an emphasis on outcomes that are subtle, proportionate and maintain facial harmony.
All aesthetic treatments are performed by a Nurse Practitioner following appropriate medical assessment.
Treatment on the day
Where clinically appropriate and sufficient time has been allocated, treatment may be performed during the same appointment.
If you are hoping to proceed with treatment on the day, please let our team know when booking so we can allow adequate time where possible.

Initial Skin Consultation
Our Initial Skin Consultation is a comprehensive assessment with a Nurse Practitioner, designed to understand your skin, identify your key concerns and develop a personalised plan for your long-term skin health.
We commonly see patients seeking support with acne and breakouts, redness and rosacea, fine lines, melasma and hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, scarring and overall skin rejuvenation.
Your consultation includes a review of your medical and skincare history, assessment of your current skin health and VISIA® Skin Analysis to provide detailed clinical imaging and establish a baseline for monitoring your skin over time.
From here, we develop an individual treatment plan which may include tailored skincare, prescription skincare where clinically appropriate, in-clinic treatments or a combination approach.
Our focus is on understanding what your skin needs, simplifying where possible, and recommending treatments that are appropriate for both your concerns and your longer-term goals.

Skincare can be expensive, particularly when products are added without a clear understanding of what your skin needs. A higher price or a promising label doesn’t necessarily mean a product is right for your concern. For persistent acne, rosacea or pigmentation, clinical assessment can help clarify why your current routine isn’t meeting your needs and guide a more appropriate plan.
The Prescribed Skincare is built around the formulas that work. Compounded for your skin, paired with a barrier-supportive routine, made in Australia, and reviewed at every refill.
Each treatment plan begins with an Initial Consultation to identify underlying concerns and ensure every recommendation supports long-term skin health. This can be an Initial Skin Consultation in clinic or via telehealth with an Initial Prescribed Telehealth Consultation.
Where clinically appropriate, prescription skincare is used to enhance, maintain and extend results between in-clinic treatments.
A clinically effective home routine forms a vital part of every treatment plan, allowing patients to maintain progress and protect outcomes.
For convenient ongoing care, portal rescripting and telehealth follow-up appointments are available where appropriate, providing access to consistent reviews, guidance and prescription adjustments.
Initial Prescribed Telehealth Skin Consultation $60
Follow up Prescribed telehealth review $30
Prescription-only products are provided only after an appropriate consultation.

Rejuran® Skin Rejuvenation
Rejuran® is a regenerative skin treatment designed to support skin quality, hydration, texture and overall skin resilience.
Rather than focusing on facial volume or altering facial structure, Rejuran® is used to support the quality and condition of the skin itself. It contains polynucleotides (PN) and is delivered through a series of small injections into targeted areas of the skin.
At The Derm Clinic, Rejuran® treatments are individually planned following assessment of your skin, concerns and treatment goals.
Rejuran® may be considered for
Fine lines and early signs of skin ageing
Crepey or delicate skin
Reduced skin elasticity and firmness
Dry or dehydrated skin
Uneven skin texture
Improving overall skin quality
The delicate under-eye and periocular area
Treatment options
Rejuran® Full Face - $590
Designed for broader facial rejuvenation where the focus is improving overall skin quality, texture, hydration and resilience.
This treatment can also be optioned for hands, neck or décolletage.
Rejuran® Eye - $490
A targeted treatment for the delicate skin around the eyes, where concerns may include fine lines, crepey texture and reduced skin quality.
What to expect
Treatment involves a series of small injections placed throughout the treatment area. Small raised areas, redness, swelling or bruising can occur following treatment and generally settle as the product disperses.
Rejuran® is typically approached as a course of treatments rather than a single treatment, with the number and frequency recommended according to your skin and individual treatment plan. Maintenance treatment may also be recommended over time.
All treatments at The Derm Clinic are performed by a Nurse Practitioner following appropriate consultation and medical assessment.
Our approach is clinically grounded and focused on subtle, progressive improvements in skin quality while maintaining your natural features and facial expression.
Treatment suitability and recommendations are determined following individual consultation and assessment. Not all patients will be suitable for treatment. Individual results, treatment requirements and downtime vary.

At The Derm Clinic, we offer medically guided consultations to explore treatment options for functional concerns such as jaw clenching (bruxism) and excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis).
Jaw Clenching & Bruxism-Related Discomfort
Increased activity in the masseter muscle may contribute to jaw clenching, teeth grinding, facial tension, and discomfort. In some cases, prolonged muscle activity can also influence facial shape or dental wear.
We offer clinical assessment to explore treatment pathways aimed at reducing overactivity in this area, where appropriate. Treatment typically takes ~15 minutes, with effects developing over 4–10 days and lasting approximately 3–6 months, depending on individual response and treatment plan.
Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)
Primary hyperhidrosis is characterised by excessive underarm sweating not adequately managed with topical treatments. Following consultation, in-clinic interventions may be considered to support reduced sweat gland activity.
Treatment duration is typically ~45 minutes, with effects developing within 1–2 weeks. Duration of benefit may range from 6 to 12 months, based on individual factors.
Consultation & Pricing
All functional concerns are assessed during a comprehensive consultation. Treatment options, expected outcomes, and pricing are clearly outlined prior to any procedure. Treatments are provided only where clinically appropriate and after informed consent.
Note: As per TGA and AHPRA guidelines no prescription-only products can be named in advertising, and all treatments are delivered by qualified Nurse Practitioners after an in person clinical assessment.
