Clinical Services Schedule

  • All new patients at The Derm Clinic begin with an Initial Skin Consultation and Treatment Planning appointment. This is a comprehensive, medical assessment designed to ensure your care is safe, appropriate, and tailored specifically to you.

This appointment forms the foundation of your treatment journey. It allows us to properly understand your skin, make an accurate clinical assessment, and develop a treatment plan based on your individual needs.

    During your consultation, we will:

    • Take a detailed medical and skin history

    • Perform a comprehensive skin and facial assessment

    • Use VISIA skin analysis imaging to establish an objective baseline and better understand your skin

    • Discuss your concerns, priorities, and goals

    • Review and optimise your current skincare routine

    • Develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to your skin

    • Clearly explain expected outcomes, timelines, potential risks, aftercare, and long-term maintenance

Where clinically appropriate and if time allows, treatment may be commenced on the same day.

If you are hoping to proceed with treatment on the same day, please let us know when making your appointment which treatments you are interested in. We will do our best to tailor your consultation to allow for this where appropriate and where time permits.

Each treatment plan begins with a Comprehensive Consultation to identify underlying concerns and ensure every recommendation supports long-term skin health.

Where clinically appropriate, prescription skincare is used to enhance, maintain, and extend results between in-clinic treatments. A clinically effective home routine forms a vital part of every program, allowing patients to maintain progress and protect outcomes.

For ongoing care, telehealth follow-up appointments are available where appropriate, providing convenient access to consistent reviews, guidance, and prescription adjustments.

  • At The Derm Clinic, our approach to aesthetic treatments is clinically grounded, evidence-based, and centred on patient safety.
Every procedure is designed to support natural facial dynamics as they evolve, without altering your unique features.

We offer clinical consultations to address:
    – Fine lines and dynamic wrinkles
    – Volume loss and facial hollowing
    – Lip shape and structure
    – Skin hydration and texture

All treatments are performed by a Nurse Practitioner following a comprehensive medical assessment.

Our focus is on achieving clinically appropriate, natural outcomes, with an emphasis on results that are subtle, proportionate, and maintain facial harmony.

Ultrasound-guided assessment and facial vascular mapping may be utilised as part of the clinical consultation to support individualised treatment planning and maintain the highest standards of patient safety.

  • At The Derm Clinic, we offer advanced injectable treatments designed to support skin structure, hydration, and resilience.
These treatments are clinically formulated to enhance skin texture, elasticity, and overall quality, particularly in areas affected by time, movement, or environmental exposure.

    Treatment Benefits
    – Improvement in skin texture and tone
    – Enhanced elasticity and reduction in fine creping
    – Support for mild volume loss in delicate areas (e.g. lower face, neck)
    – Increased hydration and dermal integrity

These treatments involve the intradermal delivery of active compounds, such as polynucleotides or hyaluronic acid, administered over a structured series of sessions. The goal is to stimulate cellular activity and collagen synthesis, reinforcing skin health and structural integrity.

  • Platelet rich fibrin (PRF) and Platelet rich plasma (PRP) are autologous (patient-derived) blood concentrates that contain platelets and growth factors. A small blood sample is processed on the day in clinic. Treatments are intended to support skin integrity, texture, and hydration.

  • At The Derm Clinic, we offer medically guided consultations to explore treatment options for functional concerns such as jaw clenching (bruxism) and excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis).

    Jaw Clenching & Bruxism-Related Discomfort

Increased activity in the masseter muscle may contribute to jaw clenching, teeth grinding, facial tension, and discomfort. In some cases, prolonged muscle activity can also influence facial shape or dental wear.

We offer clinical assessment to explore treatment pathways aimed at reducing overactivity in this area, where appropriate. Treatment typically takes ~15 minutes, with effects developing over 4–10 days and lasting approximately 3–6 months, depending on individual response and treatment plan.

    Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)

Primary hyperhidrosis is characterised by excessive underarm sweating not adequately managed with topical treatments. Following consultation, in-clinic interventions may be considered to support reduced sweat gland activity.

Treatment duration is typically ~45 minutes, with effects developing within 1–2 weeks. Duration of benefit may range from 6 to 12 months, based on individual factors.

    Consultation & Pricing

All functional concerns are assessed during a comprehensive consultation. Treatment options, expected outcomes, and pricing are clearly outlined prior to any procedure. Treatments are provided only where clinically appropriate and after informed consent.

Note: As per TGA and AHPRA guidelines no prescription-only products can be named in advertising, and all treatments are delivered by qualified Nurse Practitioners after an in person clinical assessment.

  • PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) or PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is prepared from a small sample of your own blood, processed in clinic. The concentrate is applied to the scalp using injection and skin needling techniques, where clinically appropriate.

This treatment may be considered as part of a broader clinical strategy to support scalp condition and the surrounding hair follicle environment. Skin needling may assist in enhancing the distribution and absorption of the concentrate. Adjunct therapies including prescription treatments may also be discussed if clinically suitable.

    Treatment Overview
    – Duration: 60–90 minutes
    – Recommended frequency: 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart
    – Maintenance: 1 session every 6–12 months, based on individual response

    • Telehealth Consult for Hair $49

A 15% series benefit is available when three or more treatments are planned as part of your personalised treatment programme.

  • At The Derm Clinic, we offer a personalised consultation and, where clinically appropriate, treatment to dissolve hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler using a prescription-only enzyme. This may be suitable for clients wishing to restore natural contours or correct undesired outcomes from previous filler treatments.

During your appointment, we’ll assess your concerns, discuss your treatment history, and create a safe, evidence-based plan tailored to your skin and facial anatomy. Ultrasound guidance is used where appropriate to support accuracy and reduce risk.

    Please note:
