About Ashleigh
Nurse Practitioner | Founder of The Derm Clinic, Kingscliff
With over 12 years of clinical experience, Ashleigh brings a grounded, patient-centred approach to skin health and aesthetics. Her early career was shaped in fast-paced emergency departments, where she developed a deep respect for clinical precision and evidence-based care.
After starting a family, she transitioned into telehealth and developed a focused interest in cosmetic dermatology, leading to further training in aesthetic medicine. She has completed a Professional Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine and works closely with prescription skincare providers to deliver tailored, medically sound treatment plans.
The Derm Clinic offers a collaborative, medically guided approach, balancing clinical insight with each person’s goals. The focus is on building skin confidence that lasts.
What You Can Expect
We provide comprehensive care for a range of skin concerns-acne, rosacea, pigmentation, and scarring, while supporting the skin’s natural changes over time. Each appointment is given the time it needs, with thorough assessments and individualised treatment planning that prioritises long-term outcomes. From daily SPF recommendations to in clinic procedures, every treatment is intentional, and every decision is informed.
Please note: our assessments focus on skin health and aesthetic concerns. We do not provide skin cancer screening. Regular checks with a skin cancer doctor are recommended.

The Derm Clinic is also home to Savu Studio, led by Simon Henning, Nurse Practitioner. While Savu Studio operates independently, both practitioners share a commitment to evidence-based regenerative aesthetics and wellness. Having two experienced Nurse Practitioners working from the same location creates a collaborative clinical environment where patients can access comprehensive care across skin health, aesthetic medicine, and wellness. Together, we aim to provide personalised treatment plans supported by qualified, experienced healthcare professionals.
